Looking for the Devil. My Dutch filmmaker friend Kees told me once that when he was a kid, his father taught him to stop believing in the Devil and that the devil had left. At age 70, on one of Kees' stays in my house in Mexico City, he asked me to find a wooden crafted devil to take back with him to Amsterdam. The day we found it, he took an angel instead. This happening triggered in us the need to make a journey and a film. A journey through different cities, towns and landscapes connecting The Netherlands, Indonesia and Mexico through a series of special meetings between Kees and some friends of us, relatives, neighbors, acquaintances and people we met on the road. 108 min.
